Turner Burner/Kona?

Chatting to a mate, were the early Turner Burner (v1) the same frame as also sold by Kona around 1995?

Anyone know?

Not sure about the really early ones, but every older Turner I've seen does not have pivot bearings.

They all have bushings, with obvious grease zerks at the pivots.

The early 1996/7 preproduction stabs (gold) were turners. The misser replicas were made by turner but weren’t turners if that makes sense (they weren’t production turners rebranded). Most Konas were copies rather than replicas, they used a welded bb/downtube junction rather than a CNCed one that Turners used
