TT Legends Bike Re-Born

What a fantastic story.
Thanks for making it happen.
Ian Cammish was The TT Legend when I first faced the clock. His association with Brian Rourke by that time meant I always wanted a BR frame and I’m happy to say that has just recently happened for me so now I can at least look down at the name on the frame and pretend I’m as fast!

His Rourke I believe is on display at a cafe now but he’s super nice 👍 & know my tribute bike is in the right place

Amazing! Did you tell him in advance and did he know about the bike, or was it just one big surprise?
It was going to be a surprise initially but cat got out of the bag as it were but for him to see the bike inthe flesh, to hear the work that was put in & take it home was a tad overwhelming for him but a joyous occasion as I’m extremely happy it’s gone to the right place 🥰

Doh! I don’t even want to speculate on the cost and effort you put into your bikes. To see them handed over to the riders you built them in tribute to is a great thing. But to be on the receiving end of that must just be on another level. No wonder he was a bit overwhelmed!

The Columbus Air tubing was hard to pin down but I found the OMAS big sliding headset in black the hardest part to track down so yes costs tended to increase but to get a bike done for a legend it takes paitence, research, haggling & time to get it done. The most important part is the person you are building it for fully approves 😁
