TT 2009....

I'd watched the TT on the telly for a few years and then in 2006 I went to the island on practice week - the speed of those guys is unbelievable when you're up close.

Last year I took my bike the island and I rode the TT course (with the wife on the back!) and I realised just how scary that circuit is. Over the mountain with just 100 mph on the clock things go whistling past at quite a rate and the corners are much, much tigher than they seem on the TV!

A good experience though.

Wish I'd gone to the IoM before I sold my bikes - a big regret... :-(

There are a few of us seem to regret selling our bikes..... It always gets worse for me when the likes of the TT is on :roll:

Here's food for though - I sold my Kawasaki ZX6R with 12 months MOT and 6 months tax for £900, cheaper than my last mountain bike! Motorbike prices have plummeted, go on, buy another.....
