Hi, I have this Colnago framset forgoten at home since some time,.. I tought that it is a Colnago Mexico,.. but I'm not sure. Could you help me to indentify it?

Looking for information only can find this bike that is exactly to my one in all characteristics,..

- Top tube and down tube are “crushed”, like looking aerodynimic efect
- Rear brake support “dice”
- Seat Stay union with seat tube is convex
- Botton bracket kind of cable guide

This is a '82-'83's Nuovo Mexico (or as they sometimes call it N.Mexico Profil). It was similar to Saronni's spare bicycle in 1982 in Goodwood.

This is a really interesting thread . .I've often wondered what the difference between the Super and the Mexico was...at my age I'm struggling to remember such fine details. As I remembered it, there was something special about the Mexico over the Super - in the fog of my mind I'd thought that it was something to do with the tubing, but as SLX wasn't out back then, thought perhaps that I was mistaken.

So, it's a crimped top tube...brilliant!

And only one set of bottle bosses?? Strange times, Archie, strange times indeed . .
