trying to decide on some rims for a 91ish build

I've got a pair of Ambrosio Excellence rims that have seen some dark night potholes (Dun Dynamo one year) which might have hurt a.n.other rim - they shrugged it off no problem (although the wheel-build was quality). They're pretty $exy too with the gold around the valves and have a proper box-section. From the 90's so not so easy to find but Harry Rowland built mine only a few years back - he had the rims in stock still. As do Madgetts in Diss - he has some knocking about as of a few months ago and he knows hot to build a wheel by all accounts. Lovely rims.

+1 on Excellence - they have survived 20 years of New Forest cattle grids with me.
