Triumph cyclone info

Hi All, I am trying to find out what these fittings are for on my Triumph Cyclone. One set is situated by the back wheel and the other is a thread which is close to the bottom bracket . I would like to know what they are used for as I have not seen these on any of my other bikes.

Not sure, but back in the dim and distant past the cable for the rear mech / sturmey archer 3 speed used to run through a small wheel bolted to the rear chainstay or bottom bracket......

Even earlier the wheel was under the saddle..

I see your point about the rear derailleur but the first set in the first 2 photos are on the opposite side of the rear deraileur so they can't be for that. yours John

As my mp Nick Clegg says: "I agree with Dave". About the kick stand, that is. The other hole is new to me.

Tread by BB

The tread by the BB seems to have no use as when you put the crank on over it you can't seem to get any access to it. John
