This was given to us by our neighbours who used to ride to school with it, then their dad would pilot it home alone.
It's at least 25 years old. Has lovely lugs, all bottom brackets spin freely as does headset.
Could be a laugh with some friends?
Do not know who made it, Scott cycles is my local bike shop in Birmingham. Not sure where to price it I'll offer it for £300? Give us a good story and I'll reduce considerably. Open to any offers really. Collection would be from Birmingham.
Mafac brakes are kinda sweet. The rear brake had been taken off to be cleaned but will be included.
Posts and bars are steel, all move freely.
Tyres had perished and were 26 x 1 3/8.
Wheels spin fine, but are also this dated standard and steel rim. Happy to include if wanted?
126mm rear spacing.
I believe it could well be built up with 650b rim brake wheels and cantilever or v brakes.
Blue splatter on rear cable, and guard is from an axe falling on a can of (fortunately) blue paint then exploding in the garage.
