Triple to Double crankset (campagbolo advice)

Hi there need some advice, my vitus has a triple crnkset running 2009 xenon shifters and veloce front mech

The question is could I run a double crankset and not have to change the mech and shifter.

I know I will have to get a new bottom bracket, or should I keep to a triple

Yes you can run the same parts, the question is why do you want to change ?

I need to change chainring as everyone is either completely worn or close on, so saw a good deal for one ebay, it was just myself wondering

If you need to change the rings and can get a better deal on chainset then go for it, but remember to factor in the BB price too...
