Triple front mech - which one?!

Ahhh, I'm a luddite and still stuck on a front mech!
Having thought about it ..... will the Alivio cope with my 52-30 tooth range? If it will, how much do you want for it? It would get me back on my bike while I work out what I'm doing ..... and who knows, it may well stay there!

I think postage might be a few quid these days, otherwise free.

This gets me thinking that some frames pull the front mech from the top and some from the bottom - can't remember which one's which but that's the only potential compatibility issue.

Does it have a part number stamped on it somewhere ..... I could look it up and check the spec. Thanks
