Trek Y22 - Help Needed

Can anyone help me with some information on my Trek Y22. It's a 1999 - 2000 model in bright orange. The rear pivot arm has loads of play in it thanks to a worn internal pivot bushing. I've tried everyone to get hold of a replacement but with no joy. I think I can get one made but need to know the specs. I'd normally just take the old one out but it's become sealed in and the only way to get at it is going to be with an axle grinder. I don't want to do this unless I'm sure I can replace it.

I thought they were "last for life" pivot? The one in my Y bike is still rock solid even after all the years/crappy conditions and lack of maintenance.
