I've just restored this rare MTB which I believe was made in 1998.
The all carbon frame is in excellent condition, just the odd tiny scratch. Having spent several hours on it and done some research I'm pretty sure that its totally original with even the same tyres, brake blocks and chain that it left the factory with (chain showing less than 0.5% wear). The only part I'm not sure about is the alloy stem which looks a little chunky. The bike would appear to have had very, very little use in its lifetime.
18" seat tube and 22" top tube weighing in at 23.5 lbs, the full spec is:
Rockshox Indie SL front forks, Shimano Deore components (rear mech 8 speed cassette and RapidFire SL shifters) Shimano STX RC triple chainring, Shimano Deore LX servo wave action V-brakes, Bontrager saddle and seat post, Tange-Seike headset, Matrix-Swami alloy rims laced to Shimano STX RC hubs and Bontrager Race bar extensions.
I'm selling for £550 and will hopefully be able to deliver the bike personally to ensure it arrives safely
