Fancy selling the wheels cassette and tyres?

£1200. There's an extra charge for splitting the minty, immaculateness of this rare, mass produced bike. Tomorrow it will be £1300 due to inflation and the cost of removing it from the wall again.

The price of immaculate vintage mountain bikes has increased and the price reflects the immaculate condition. Suntour produced the "best of the best" in running gear and XTR is the present name. In its day is was called XC Pro - the highest quality ever produced.

I love how you've come onto a website full of people who are incredibly well informed about "vintage mountain bikes", and have confidently stated something which is so obviously wrong

The price of vintage, rare, high end mountain bikes (think Klein, Fat Chance) may have risen, and may continue to rise. However the price of mass produced bikes (no matter how nice) sadly has not, especially ones that aren't 100% original.

Good luck with the sale.

It's a shame that this thread/ad has turned into a comedy as the bike itself looks nice . It's also very funny ! I wonder how much it's gone up in value since I've been writing this .
But good luck with the sale anyway.

Re:

This community is obsessed with retros and as such many would have seen this continually listed and not sold on eBay. Increasing the price of something that does not sell is an act of the fool hardy

Your patchy knowledge and asking for a price in gbp is puzzling to me. You are correct in one part but again with a patchy application. We are seeing more and more as times become tough, some without knowledge of the market/bike are ASKING for higher prices and like yours they rarely sell and the seller can't understand why their valuation bears no resemblence to the real world or market prices.

I would suggest if your unsure of what your bike is actually worth based on experience and market conditions then we have a lovely what is my xyz worth within the chat section, that might be worth a try?

I would probably suggest that at even half of the original eBay price it still would not sell so rather than suggest a price which is generally not done in this section I would suggest you hang it back on the wall to save disappointment.

Have a great Easter weekend.
