Beto for years, then a Rennkompressor.
Think you could be on to something - I’ve been saving the air from old tyres for years in my garage. Plan is to photograph it in front of a Campagnolo carrier bag and get it on eBay for the hipsters.Premium air? If you aren't feeding in the correct mix of oxygen, nitrogen and trace elements then your pump is going to die quickly. To combat this I'm now selling premium air. Really easy to use, you get a can that you open near the base of your pump before you start, it will calibrate the air ratio for you.
Sorry to say its a one time product right now, but I'll be doing it in a handy 24 can pack to reduce packaging. I'm working on a reusable one though.
I make dozens of pump leathers a week commercially but not big enough for a bike pump. https://fettlebox.co.uk/pump-leathers.html
That post from my CCS site works well for a rough one off. Shaggy side outwards & veg tanned leather for wet moulding. A quick dunk in neatsfoot oil to condition. Engine oil will work.
Never a dull moment in the workshop!bikes and old stoves, what a combination.
