Hopefull post, but you never know.

My Roberts clubman is great with a very light load (saddle and handlebar bar) but becomes very springy when properly loaded.

My missus has a Simoncini that I had as a teenager, which clears 700× 38 without mudguards, could possibly get away with 700 × 40. I'm looking to run mudguards, but in a perfect world would rather 35s over 32?

I've plenty of components, so am just looking for frame only

Looking for something hand-built, decent tubing, cantis and plenty of braze ons, ideally spaced to 135 at the back, but could adjust my wheelset.

I have a 631 Stanforth Skyelander in the size you are after. A very stiff frame.
55 cm c/c top tube, 52cm c/c seat tube, 84 standover height. It runs 35mm tyres with guards.

I see I should give a price, but let's see if it's of interest first.
Handbuilt by Lee Cooper, only 40 miles on it!
Change of life plans means I should have cancelled the order!
I have photos of the build and as built if of interest.

Hi Greg,

Forgot to set this to sorted!

I managed to get an early 80s Bridgestone!

Fairy Nuff, I wouldn't know how to amend or alter or correct spelling etc.
I should do more than 40 miles on it, but it really needs to be in the Hindu Kush or somewhere, not pootling about North Lancs, Dales etc.
