Tourer 56-58cm

Old School Hero
Touring France this spring, pannier rack and mudguards would be useful too. I'm 6ft. Don't want to spend a fourtune and could do some tinkering if required.

Hi Billy, I'm just starting a restoration on a Dawes Fox like this one

http://www.flickr.com/photos/niniferrose/6177335579/

Complete strip down and rebuild, final price depends largely on whether I have the frame professionally enamelled but probably in the £150-£180 region plus choice of tyres, new tubes and pedals. ( The existing tyres are fine but £20 buys a nice new set of economy tourers. )
I have a nice pair of quill pedals with new straps and toeclips so you can specify when the build is complete.
I'm not a pro it's just a hobby, but here's a couple of bikes I renovated
Gitane For £130

Raleigh for £120
