its warm and sunny and im ready to go....2 flasks,beef sandwiches,copiuous crap foods and a whelking big dewalt waterproof radio....9 hours of sunbathing/hard graft coming my way.

No stages anywhere near us this year, The last couple of Tours have crossed the Humber Bridge and finished in Dalby.

ive been surrounded by road bikes all day....i feel dirty and used..


ill post some piccies tommorow cos right now im knackered ...turned into a long day ...got a piccie of a bike costing 8500 quid ///mostly carbon as you can imagine...there are 1 or 2 clips on you tube as well but they are still uploading...fav part of the day?......sitting down after standing for 9 hours straight...

i didnt get to sit down for 9 hours ..the pa system in front of us at the finish line was stuck at 11 all frikkin day..my feet hurt,i have back ache and i only saw 3 nice mountain bikes ...the rest were road bikes....

Nice pics, had a look at those felts myself,very nice! When we got there we were contemplating having something to eat, the geezer we were talking to offered to look after our bikes and after a few i don't think so mate's he popped his phone out and said you can take this as insurance if you like, it was a brick :roll: He probably thought xmas had come early with a combined £4000 worth!!

He also rattled on about being a road champ for 8 years and then went on to say they had fiat bikes down there, what a dick they were the felts

Not sure the 65 mile return ride was worth it as we didn't see much either, over in a flash..
