I hope the OP takes no offence, but as a newbie, some "direction" as to price might be required.....as stated in more direct terms above.

There is a " whats it worth" thread, if posted there he might get a better idea of its true value prior to posting a revised advert?

Lovely condition, but sadly a cheap, undesirable bike..... even when new.

But you never know.....in a world where m900 components apparently require armed guards to transport round the garage!

There's a slightly later and nicer spec, relatively speaking, one on ebay in similar condtion that has been listed twice at £150 and didn't sell and is now £100 and still hasn't sold. That might act as a yardstick of realism for the OP.

It’s fair to say it’s not something most folk would lust after in this forum but I do think given it’s condition it’s worth something to someone. I remember well them being released and wanting to have a ride on one. (I did and promptly burst the tyre riding my mates brand new Activator in to a wall).

There’s going to be people out there who didn’t then continue to be interested in bikes to whom this would appeal. It’s got the same sort of novelty appeal as the Raleigh Vektar which while it was a heavy lump was what every kid who didn’t know about proper BMXs wanted for a period of time.

There’s quite a few pages of reading for the OP here https://www.retrobike.co.uk/threads/raleigh-activator-i-ii-appreciation-thread.252198/

Not a big fan of the Activator but that belongs in a museum, price is probably high but who knows what can happen on something like eBay, people go mad for nostalgia. Good Luck.
