Totally offtopic - Consoles (ps1) and tv cards

nah i loved the ps1 my fav gaming console when i was little! mind james bond agent underfire multiplayer (ps2) did come very close to army men 3D!

I cannot do the console thing,i just cant get used to those weird controllers,Give me a mouse and keyboard any day
Plus you cant use a physics sandbox with console games

computer gaming for wasting time
console for mucking about with friends
bought a ps1 and 2 controllers for £10 posted
and a gameboy colour for £18 with 3 games
very happy

Personally im into the graphic quality that consoles can only dream about ,doesnt matter what game,i can run anything at max settings and enjoy it the way it was meant to be seen.
Refresher rate set for all TV's,one size fits all.mass produced for the masses.
but,each to their own
Maybe thats why i dont ride a trek

Nooooo consoles are just a bit of fun - if you want to game, get a PC i enjoy call of duty at nearly max settings (9800GT) but i still like to relive my early childhood with 640x800 or whatever it is graphics! oh and shut up about treks XD i know there shit. . . i want a klein - shame i cant afford one! i think i will settle for a kona

PS1 arrived today but im not sure which channel to use to play games through the card! im using wintv 7 and have tried scanning but no channels through that! have tried the composite/s-video channels nothing through that and i have tried channel 0 and 1 any ideas?

EDIT - Scratch that i got it sorted, a nice 5 second lagg on the tv card oh well time to buy a retro tv now

i use the ps3 for bad company multiplay on a huge telly with a yamaha natural sound amp....lovely.i would use the pc for gaming but get fed up with all the cheating...the kids have a ps2 (the second one from game as the first one they sold me was a pile of broken crapp.....some one doesnt check what they should when they buy them.....) which they got for their burfday and the missus has a wii which primarily collects dust (even tho she nagged for ages to get it).i also have a psp which i use to play ff7 and a few other psp games.i also use it to read books and asterix cartoon books conveted for the psp screen .it doubles as an mp3 player and film player too...(i have the bbc day of the triffids series on there as well as a ton of music vids....)....i also own a gizmondo as well......cheers stefan for the interesting investment methods..haha.ps i also use the psp as my sat nav...when im trying to find that hard to find..out in the middle of frikkin nowhere primary in the countryside....yes im talking about you white house primary ..winterton on sean...2 soddin hours to find you and all i could find was a pinking dirt track....
