avoided becaused of cruise and diaz, they both do my head in, and am always weary that he is trying to recruit for the cause

together made over 60 flims  all rubbish  but made them stinking rich

religious nutter  I thought it was a car program :? not much about cars
The older series is much better. More car reviewing

always loved top gear, though i will watch any car shows, including top gear.

5th gear is quite good, tiff and plato are superb drivers.

Wow I wish I remembered to watch, instead I watched a rerun on Belgian tv for the millionth time, they pitted the "new" Aston Martin Vanquish against a Ferrari 550

The celb part is so boring

Oh but it was Cameron Diaz (<drools continuously>) with some midget.
She's still utterly gorgeous

Liked the VW 4 x4 at the start

Iwonder if they still produce the 5.0 V10 diesel

But it's still not a Range Rover is it? (by that I mean the real one. not the 'drug-dealer' Sport)

Whether you like diaz or cruise you can't help but be impressed by the lap times though, no?

Exactly!

Why is everyone so quick to state what they 'hate' about the show/Cruise/Cam?
Hate is a strong word.

Its an entertainment show, it raises a few laughs, and the last episode showed amongst other things:
A film star ragging a car on two wheels
A Porsche made out of paper and a bike (nuts)
A foppy haired man driving a car that sounds like an angry god at 260mph+ (!)
A mini film about the glory days of F1, showing some of the the best ever cars and drivers doing what they did best
Lewis Hamilton struggling to come to terms with magnitude of getting to grips with one of the best cars ever made.

Why bring religion into it? Do you actually know the facts? Do you act the same every time you see a muslim on TV just because you dont believe the same as them?

And all the other F1 greats were unanimous in explaining that Senna always picked a line and stuck to it, and gave you the decision of whether to drive into it or not...which is exactly what Prost did, no?
Ruthless? yes, winner? 100% yes, cheat? arguably on that occasion...but only arguably. There are always two sides to a tale.
He did also get out of his car during a race to check on the well being of an injured colleague, not to mention giving millions (thats millions) to charities. And the footage of him ragging the 80's cars at 100% was simply breath taking.
I'd give a whole season of current F1 to watch one more race with Senna at his best.

Sure, the formula of Top Gear has changed, and the presenters can be irksome at best, and some of the staged acts are predictable...but it still beats alot of the guff on TV these days.

If you didnt enjoy at least one of those things about that episode, then youve broken something.
