Anyone see it tonight?

I think it was one of the best episodes yet, Veyron was just unbelieveable and cool it topped the board ( and so it should for over a million quid). Tom Cruise & Cameron Diaz came across pretty well and his two wheeled corner was nuts...hand of god intervened there lol

The last part on Senna was great...the footage from the 80s and early 90s was amazing and really made you realise how good that guy was

Agree it was a bit special tonight. The Veyron is absolutley amazing.

hated it. 5th gear is much better. The celb part is so boring. The veyron is still ugly.
Liked the VW 4 x4 at the start.

Should get it on I-Player tomorrow i hope, but Im sitting watching the prog on bbc 2 about the horrific Le-mans crash that killed 80+ people!! :shock: :shock:

Have to admit I have been watching 5th gear quite a bit recently and it's good...at least the presenters of that (especially Plato) can actually drive cars properly!

TG can bore me senseless sometimes but tonights one was special mainly due to the Senna stuff

Also watching the Le Mans programme....pretty savage footage

Doesnt account for the Prost incident,Sorry but imho to do something like that and put another drivers life at risk[yeah ok slowish speed,but is that really the point :shock: ]Is completely unacceptable and he should have been stripped of the title and even banned

Decent episode tonight, never much cared about the Veyron, and tonight's feature didn't change that - felt much the same as the original May high speed run on the same test track a few years ago. The snowmobile / Paris Dakar VW race was predictable but beautifully shot and staged (as usual), Cruise and Diaz appear to be almost human, silly bicycle Porsche was silly, and the Senna feature while being a bit gushy at least touched on the contradictory nature of the man.

Excellent episode and one of the best for a while. I don't really like the 'challenges' they do. The bit on Ayrton Senna was brilliant.

Agree 100% A great diver would have raced and won on the track. A bad sport, lazy driver would have done what he did.
I thought i was the only one who thought that.
