Too good to be true? Jack Taylor

Very nice, but can someone explain why at £850 a 531 frame by a small builder is deemed a bargain? No criticism, I'm genuinely interested as I had not heard of Jack Taylor frames before, and clearly they seem to be venerated.

Jack Taylor was famous for tandems, which sold well all over the world (US, Australia/Europe). Particularly novel was the box lining which was done by hand, by Jack himself. There's still a documentary about them 'Bike Brothers ' on YouTube. A clean example like this one would easy do four figures on eBay. Americans still pretty nuts for them. Quality, isn't it?

Lucky i already did, with original receipt, 1948 iirc
Part of my pension, although I think sadly collectable Lightweight stuff has dropped in value over the last few years
