deep section wheels do give the illusion of a smaller bike, which I liked when I had mine, years ago now.
I like yours, but I bet it's a handful in a crosswind! :shock:

It's not just an illusion, it's actually a pretty small frame, I'm 5'6".

The wheels are ok in constant winds, but they can be a bit hairy when it's blustery. My winter wheels have a much lower height, which will be coming out of storage soon sadly :roll:

Having started this thread, I thought it best that I add to it every now and then! :roll:

So today I went out for a potter, not trying to kill myself today, around the local lanes of West Sussex.

Up the main road for a few miles, I was pleased to see some quieter roads!

Damp, slightly foggy day, Sun trying to burn through it though.
It's old around here, so therefore expensive to live. Thankfully the roads are still open to peasants like me, for now!

Then around Pulborough Brooks Nature reserve - past a cafe I hasten to add - and heading off towards Amberley. I love these roads in this area, could do with more of them

Before which, up the only small ring hill, up towards Whiteways car park.

Really pleased with these bars I bought from the Guv, first ride with them. PC, the right width and look cool too!

And past another cafe too!

Then dropped down into Arundel,

Lovely ride, not cold and little traffic!

That's a BAD look!

I have some plain black shorts, as they go with most of my retro kit, but sometimes find PC team ones.

The only black jersey I have, is a sleeveless one I sometimes wear in the Summer, mtb'ing

I have thoughts for start and finish locations (I have good theme, need route) for the New Year ride and post it here if you're ok with that Mike.
