today i be mostly driving a 68 shelby gt 500

The original GT500 came with a 7 liter 428 Big Block engine, the GT350 came with a 5 liter small block. This is a nice replica, but not exactly a GT500.

Hi FairFaxPat ,
Cheers for the info there , we could'nt find many 7ltr interceptor engined models(in the uk) at the time and this was the closest to the gt500 we could find , its not bad considering it's a look-a-like, cheers,
Lee.

Tis a very pretty thing
Does it handle as badly as i imagine it would(which is super tanker bad)? ;)

No its actually very nimble for its size ,not much body roll ,plenty of traction too the only down side is the brakes  even with discs you have to press them hard, i have seen these go round the circuit too and there pretty quick ,they used to run in the old gb touring cars too i think,

The small block cars handled way better than the Big Blocks because the engine was at least 250 pounds lighter, and the shorter (in length) small block sat farther back behind the front axle, thus vastly improving weight distribution.
