Put the XTR on, the XT will still be NOS then.
Then if you get a better frame you would rather put the XTR on then you can move it across. At that point the nice NOS XT can go on this bike.
I have just put M900 groupset on to a bottom end Rocky Mountain (similar to an Orange Clockwork standard), my frame is not complaining.
