I have had this done for a while. Been road riding for most of the year and the weather in Toronto has been lousy.

As far as I know its a Titanium Wheeler, though a couple of riders on the trail have tried to convince me its a early Fat Chance ti. Its a resto mod ... old meets new. Still working on the fine tuning of it, but its pretty fun. Great over the flats and usual single track. Its a bit of a white knuckler on the more aggressive obstacles. Pretty much every nut and bolt is on Ti and lots os NOS retro parts on it.

welcome to the sub 20lbs club! ;) guess those carbon forks offset the tyre weight a bit. surprised with tyre choice given you say you ride mostly road with that.

here's my sub 20 Merlin Ti

Nice looking Merlin.

This is my trail setup. I'll take a pic of it next time it goes to work with its road wheels/tires. It looks pretty wild :)

By road riding I meant my Klein Quantum has a lot of miles.

so is it still sub 20 with the offroad wheel setup? or only with road wheel setup?

Yes ... sub 20 ready to go offroad.

Its actually heavier with the road setup. The spin wheels are heavier and the denonators I use are not too much lighter than the Kevlar Panaracer Fires

Here's the bike in commuting form. Spin Tri-Spoke wheels, Maxxis Detonator Tires, and KCNC ti Skewers.
