I'm aware of the innovations and history. They have made a lot of real sh**e though. The parts we buy now are superior to the parts 30 years ago is all I meant.

It is very nice quality. Surprisingly solid, not flexy.Nice bottle cage though, Chinese engineering is much better than it used to be.
Not surprised. I have seen parts that easily rival the best the west can doIt is very nice quality. Surprisingly solid, not flexy.
Does it hold the bottle? It is very nice quality. Surprisingly solid, not flexy.
You're quite right. I don't know what I was thinking.Hold a bottle?? You don’t expect me to be actually using it!?
Well I don’t use plastic bottles (only stainless and titanium flasks). Those King stainless cages grip these ok, but no, the new titanium cage wasn’t having it. I had to use a plastic bottle from the back of the cupboard and it held it fine.
It’s on a posh new-build road bike (GT Edge Ti) and the metal flasks looked stupid anyway, so I’ll have to go plastic. (I don’t do plastic. *cue new, heated debate!)
