Titan Titanium Compe. new pic's

Quirky through and through - love it! Always remember the Titan ads in MBA - I'll scan a few soon and add here.

 ye quirky thats titan ok!

Think most of the quirk come's from the bmx d.n.a in the veins, loop stays top tube extending past the seat tube etc. The half trac's the same :p

The BMX influence extended from Mongoose (who went on to do an IBOC Looptail) through to Titan, Yeti and their FROs/Ultimates. I've read somewhere that John Parker hung out at SE Racing, which makes sense. And then there's the Cooks and Laguna Cruisers...

Titan Titanium Compe

Ye,

Some company's made the jump from the dying B.M.X scene quite successfully, Cook Bros and Bullseye almost seem like the started off in mtb.

The titan d.n.a is loud and clear when you see this 1987 titan junior!
even has the same paint finish as a half trac

Love that. Out of the many bike on this site, this is one I would love to get my leg over....

If I owned it, the green would need to go, but appreciate it was original.

Re: Beautiful Titan!

Ran across your Titan through a Google search and was thrilled to see another one in such great shape! I have the same bike almost completely built (era specific), but am having a heck of a time with the bottom bracket. What is it? Italian threads? I'm stumped, and I don't want to crap-shoot buying an expensive vintage titanium BB only to find out it won't work. Do you have any ideas?
Also, attached a photo of mine...
