Time warp Europa built page 8.

Re: Just taken a massive punt on this time warp Europa pics

Everything here other than that damned bolt! Off to the shed. Still undecided on the aeros as i may have to change the cranks. Really bloody ANNOYING for one bolt.

Re:

Just take your time and watch the overlapping wraps if you are using the Fizik tape.

It does look great when finished, but with almost no stretch it can feel a bit odd to wrap.

Re:

Built. Bit of fettling to get the front wheel in (qr). Now in the kitchen for coffee and think before tape.

Nurse, the scalpel.

Re:

Well it all got very zen in here for a bit. Mrs HM out shopping. Dogs sensing my heightened concentration went quiet and sat watching it all slowly unravel. The tape that is. Everything still needs adjusting but you get the idea. Outers were all saved. Oh and cables in front or behind? Can't remember.

Star Wars yesterday, I was eleven again. Today I'm sixteen.

Crappy iPad pics.

Re:

Cable wherever they don't get in the way. I have mine in front, but I don't think it really matters.

Love the yellow bar tape, much better than black.

Great job enjoyed reading this thread I had a SH europa back in 86 which got pinched  I remember that having yellow bar tape the plastic stuff and not benotto.

Re:

Looks good with the yellow tape mate, well done! :xmas-cool:

Only a small thing, but please trim the rear cable outer down from the last guide to the caliper.
And I think cables behind the bars too :xmas-wink:

Hope it's good to ride

Mike

See the problem is that neither cables have been trimmed and are as original. I pulled it through a bit to try and even up the front.

To trim it not to trim?
