Ticked Off - Reflective Tyres

Why oh why is it soooo hard finding any decent narrow folding 26" tyre semi-slick /touring tyre without the
god awful reflective band. It's getting on my nerves. Also seems you need to pay more not to have them :!:

Anyone else can't stand them (for certain builds / purposes), and anyone recommend something without them?

Yep. Already done that one too. It's easier if the tyre is a bit old.

Ideally new unused rubber to make a stock. Seen some Maxxis that could be interesting. Looks like most
people stocking Schwalbe only go for the reflective stripe.
