Three large steel frames - free - Newbury area M4/A34

Free frames!

Clearing out the shed I have discovered three large frames in restorable condition - a Dawes R500 "Cr-Mo" (Shadow?) a Carlton (R531? Worksop) and a Peugeot R531 with 501 fork

Sizes - all large

Dawes 58cmST & 57cmTT
Carlton - 63/57
Peugeot - 62/58

See photos for condition. I don't think the Carlton's seatpost is seized as it has been shimmed with a cut-up drinks tin!

Collection only - Near Newbury - A34/M4 2 min from Thames Valley Bedwyn train station

Def. no option for postage (at cost)? Would love that Carlton, but you're just a little too far away....

Folks, I know that feeling. If someone will take at least two and pay up front for packing and arrange carriage. I'll put them both in a bike box and you can have 'em picked up. PM me and we can discuss it - I'll pack them reasonably well for £20. My post code is RG17 9UW, so you can check ParcelForce - but you arrange the collection (i'll make sure they are available on the day). I can send more pix as well - just too busy at the moment

What size would the box be, on the parcelforce website it needs parcel weight and dimensions to get a quote.

I'd have to get a box out of storage but your typical bike box. Someone had a link a while ago to a specialist UK bike delivery service? Weight I would estimate about 5kg per frame and 5kg for the box. Estimate high and then no unpleasant surprises

Another option is collecting the frames or frame in London (Paddington area - 5 min from station)

PaisleyFreight has always been good for me and for around £25 will take a full bike box and probably fit 3 frames in there
