I will need to find some ‘specialist’ parts for this one.

May take a little time.

I thought you were the specialist part or any build or do you mean you need support from the THM understudies / disciples

This one will be very very ‘special’. Perhaps not even a rider, unless it’s a dressing room with only white roses or m&ms with all the green ones removed.

Apparently....

The M&M thing is true. I cant remember which band but they were on recently and they loved Spinal Tap, often getting lost back stage themselves and were the ones that started the M&M thing.

They said that any backstage team that would go to that length and detail for the dressing rooms was a good team and was paying attention to the band rather than treating them like crap. They then knew that they would have a good night without audience trouble and so on.

Apparently...

Van Halen.

So the legend goes, during their 1982 world tour there was a legally binding clause in their contract of a bowl of M&Ms with no brown ones. David Lee Roth reckoned that it was a way of ensuring the contract had been properly read by each venue and that if they found brown M&Ms they knew to expect other technical problems.

Re: Can I make a silk purse from a sow’s ear?

No give me an m&m for using the reference correctly. If partially mangled.

I know where this is going.

Hey peachy, mind if I commandeer this lovely thread of yours? As it’s ‘really free’?

That’s if you’re serious about it?
