Yes I’m confident it can shed some pounds, and I do have some seriously nice titanium stuff that can be loaned to it just for the Mountain Mayhem weekend.... just imagine this with my Flite evolution on! :facepalm:

Loan it some parts from your spares cache first, if you enjoy the ride then maybe spend some money improving it further.
Oh and there's always the pleasure of just working on bikes. IMHO.

I’ve got a pair of Rockshox Indy’s that might do the job, I’m going to try them first.

Bar ends on riser bars! No. Just no. The bar ends have to go: weight saving and aesthetics are in happy alignment on that point.

I think it’s safe to say if peachy thinks it’s worth bothering with it will look a hell of a lot better than it currently does - with a lot of wrongs put right.


I’m just not convinced it’s worth the effort - but then 99% of folk think that of the Kirk I rolled in glitter and it’s one of favourite builds
