These power cranks

There's a long thread over on weight weenies about these (and probably every other cycling forum) and the (professional/biomechanical) consensus is that they are a gimmick. Wasting valuable cardio vascular power on tiny, inefficient, badly suited muscles is a bit silly, benefits are below measurable levels. Similar to the pulling up on pedals discussion.

If you want to pedal more efficiently, just take a foot out of the pedal and drive with the other one! Save several hundred pounds. Minus my £50 commission for this advice! :LOL: :LOL:
