For TT’ers the fabulous Modolo Kronos Caliper we’re great with the main flaw of wouldn’t stop you in the wet & pretty poor in the dry but then TT’s were not about braking 😁

Another Delta style brake - weird for sure - I have never seen another set here in USA = Weinmann
I am not sure how wonderful - have yet to mount them on the intended rider (which stops well enough with dual pivot calipers).

For a Delta style brake they are pretty good stoppers. The Campagnolo versions: not so much!
 
I bought a bike with the clip in Merckx pedals on it. The guy (a farmer) only used them with Welly boots. Having attempted unsuccessful clip in/out, I could see why the choice of footwear, was choice...
I had a clubmate once who always came out in wellies in the winter. o_O
 
This is the Walter Ferrus is banging on about! It's a work of art, and not a bit of carbon fibre in sight 🤐

Yep, their naming conventions are all over the shop. The Mistral front derailleur is a horrible plasticy job, along with the shift levers (they are like the Modolo 'carbon fiber' ones) so my intended build is all Premier where possible. They even packaged them this way as complete groups.

Fwiw I'm quite fascinated by vintage exotica lightweight parts. The Spanish were doing it a decade before the French. If I get the chance to look it out, I'll post a BCG (of Barcelona) lightweight bike, from c.1970 which just about every part on it is titanium or milled and drilled aluminium. THT (Spain) took it to another level producing aero titanium and road frames for Look.
