Since 1993? You must be knackered by now.

Re:

Thought I would post a picture of my old Cannondale "Beast of the East" which was a lovely mauve colour when I bought it back in '91.
Stripped the frame and polished up with a custom made 6061T6 rigid fork added. I started out with the Scott drops using Suntour XC pro drivetrain and accushift shifters.
Then moved on to Sachs Ergopower levers which I've been using ever since (due to their rebuildability)
Notice the back roller cam brakes which sometimes worked.
Cheers Geoff

Powder coasters have phone - frame is ready so ill collect it tomorrow. Today I've been messing about with the bars - ergo propensity a slight flare now fitted to stem. Thumbies slipped straight onto the bars, and will at at the thinnest the stem.

I'm going for black-o-black. My Box o' Shite has yieleded un unused 2012 Acera March in black, and an Alivio front mech.

Got some black rims on Miche and Shimmy hubs. Only need chain, cables, cantis and aero levers to finish.

Collected frame from powder coaters this morning , and what a beautiful clean and glossy job they've done.

Started assembling it, pics when I'm nearer completion and it starts to look like a bike again.I'm going to use this one as a light tourer, somewhere half way between an MTB and a full on adventure bike. But with Flared ergo drops.
