Roadside "dog show" of custom painted works of art for charity auction.
It was an interesting and an enjoyable break in the ride. Here are a few of the "best of show" IMO:
It's a "doggone" shame not to post them all. Every artist put in a great effort, but here are my final faves! What are your favorites?
The same mountain pictured on the above dog: Mt. Wachusett (climbed later that week) photographed from the opposite side of the ski slopes depicted on the dog (coincidently just minutes prior to me reaching the town with the dogs). Not super tall (2004 ft), but a workout for my old legs; not counting the ride to get to it.
Looking down the roadway; overall, about a mile's worth of dogs.
Last, but not least; your friend and mine: "Buddy" (a rescued dog; my brother's rather large standard poodle) ready to drive us home!
