I just invented a new hobby. Train plow spotting. My big thrill for the day, waiting for the railroad plow to pass. I only get to see this once or twice a year.

Very little snow , here, calf deep but cold. -27c without wind chill. full moon spooky, deadly. How can the UK have such nice weather when they are so much farer north of us? Maritime versus continental climate? Your dead if you go outside without a lot of gear, plans and survival skills. I’m feeding the fire.
