The Unofficial Official Photography Thread...

One from this morning. I walked the dog down to Penarth Pier and got there about 30 minutes after high tide. Although the waves had died down a little, the pier and the esplanade were still getting a bit of a hammering and although the waves weren't crashing up and over the wall onto the road (they were before I'd got there, hence all the debris on the path!), the power of the water smashing into the wall could be felt through my feet from the other side of the road!

I took this on my iphone last week....



I'd been wanting to try a 'trick' panoramic for a while and this worked out a treat!
I had to get my friends to run behind me as I did the sweep, but it stitched it all together ok :D
Thats Mt Blanc in the background too
