I submit my 1988 Koga Miyata ValleyRunner. I had and still have so much joy on this bike. For me it is the best bike 50 euros could buy!

I think i actually made money when I got it!

Frame was free from a mate.
The forks were mine from new but sold to the same mate then given back to me for nowt years later.
The parts are random bits from my old bikes.
I'll get it re-assembled!

Hmmm... no, I won't feel too guilty about submitting my own bike here too - can't see many people thinking I'm showing off too much! 'bout £67 all in I think.

to everyones surprise i am throwing in a Klein. yes, it was below 150GBP complete plus it is a rider, has a wild hodgepodge of parts and a KONA fork. now, if that's not a winner i dont know

Hi Carsten,

Whether or not it will win the title, it is indeed quite a performance to get that chassis for under 150GBP.

I have to confess that everytime I see that paint I am wondering why there are exploded brains on the headtube. The person who painted it must have got inspiration from a ran over animal. I remember very well when I saw that paint for the 1st time. The aditional charge was considerable: over 600 guilders if I remember correctly (>±275 euro)
