Tricky stuff. You don't want to be so close as to get runs, but don't want to be too far as to paint the other half of the back end. And that's without trying to get the fade even on both sides of the frame.
Sorry foz, those tyres are a favourite of mine. Derfault if you like. I think I have four pairs. In red. One in blue, and a couple in black. Oh, and there's a yellow pair on the way too. Attached to a bike. How inconvenient!
I have got a new pair of black in 1.8, but they will be going on the bike I will be racing in a fortnights time.
