the rojo projects part 2: kona hahana ss

the second bike i'm building will be this hahana, powder coated white with loads os white red and black bits.

first day: part fitted the wtb grease gaurd head set, dmr seat, kore stem, xt v brakes and nicely powder coated white xt v levers.

wheels will be mavic rims on xt hubs, and black and red panaracers.

will be trying for a magic ratio

Which year frame did you use and what ratio do you plan on using?

according to rojo its a 94/95. not sure on ratio yet, will try a few and see which works.

magic ratio is where you get good chain tension without a tensioner.

update.

99% done

magic ratio achieved looks so clean. 36x 19

just need to fit sfn to forks, then change the tyres as the rear one rubs :cry:
