The RB what I bought/ found/scrounged this week thread pt.II

Stopped in at the LBS on my way home last night to pick up some bikes that had been left behind (shop doesn't take trades. People bring bikes in to trade, buy a new bike and just leave the old ones there. I collect them and take them to donate to the Co-Op). Couldn't not rummage through some bins while I was there......

Remembered I wanted to grab some 6mm brake housing. FFS. Oh well, back again today.

I'm guessing this is a press for installing bushings in AMP forks.

Was walking out the door and I remembered BRAKE HOUSING. Back in to the back room. You ever sell any of this? Ha, not in years. Cool. I'm all in.

What frame is the rear suspension from? Looks nice.

I'm not sure. Grabbed it for the shock so I can swap it out with the Kuster on my Zig-Zag and send it off to Foes for a rebuild.

I'm pretty sure you could offer 7 night LBS tour packages in your locale to fellow Retro bikers and they would bite your hand off...

That last concussion I had ws a doozie. My short term memory isn't what it use to be. We went over to grab some tires out of container #1 Sunday as the shop's stock was getting low. I found a Moto Raptor and an IRC Piranha Pro for myself. In the shuffle, they got put in the rack and I forgot about them. Had to stop in on my way home yesterday to grab them (didn't want them getting put on a customer's Supercycle by accident).

When I got there they had found a couple of more nuggets for me. Straight block 7s freewheel and another Tri-Align II. And the peak off the blue Troy Lee Edge,

While I was there, I looked through a couple of the bins they were sorting. Found a GT badged THE fender. Put it on the workbench. Realized when I got home it was still on the bench where I had put it. Gonna have to stop in on the way home tonight to grab it. Wish me luck.

Stopped in the shop on the way home. Damn kid who stashed the fender I went back for slipped off home before I could ask him where he stashed it. Oh, well. It's on the way home. Have to stop in tomorrow.
