In all honesty is the retro market that big and have you considered that these finds may not ever end :? After all, they made thousands of these products and what didnt sell was stored and of that theres likely to still be quite a lot.
I'm actually passing stuff by that a few years ago would have bought, to concentrate on finding very hard to find ,pretty much exclusively UK stuff.
Occasionally I slip
But it was only £10 inc post and as luck would have had it ive just finished building up a 36h rear 5 bolt bulb in some very new/ish parts couldnt have come at a better time.
Then another sells the next day for £27 on auction*
* I can never understand this :? A rim is listed, its brand new and at an incredible price when you consider postage within the UK is included. And yet it has 7 people watching.
WHAT ARE THEY WAITING FOR ?? A better price than a tenner inc post ? :shock:

Well, these parts may be boring for connaisseurs, I know. But I don't care too much about exotica or bike tuning parts. All I care about is condition/quality vs. price. I can't say they were insanely cheap, but good finds. Some have the funds, I have the time/patience.
Btw Schadenfreude means laughing at other peoples misery. What you describe sounds more like some kind of manic depression.

Today's catch, a set of ROND hubs (with worn out Mavic X217 rims). Prety rare hubset, bought them for my wife's bike, I need to find an excuse to steal them for one of my own builds...
