Very nice indeed and definitely rare, first one i've ever seen. I know of this Kona sanctuary it would be right at home in,if you ever get bored of it

What's the rarest thing you've got?

I'll start, i've got a doughnut cable hanger by a company called RAD components, early 94ish, used to have 2 now only got 1, a bit like Hitler.

I've never seen any others!

I'll post a pic when i get time.

I knew I had a photo of mine somewhere, found it!

and it still has the original York Cycleworks sticker. Nice touch.

I never recall seeing any Kona’s in Cycleworks, at least pre-1992. Riverside Cycles stocked Kona back then. But maybe Cycleworks stocked Kona from 1992 onwards. @retrobikeguy maybe you have a better memory?!

From what I remember cycleworks didn't do Kona, as JCS said, riverside cycles did them, probably bike shak on walmgate prior to that, maybe just a sticker from a service.

Thanks, it's a darn good bourbon, just a little bit after a successful fork rebuild. Possibly more if unsuccessful. Work shop is a mess right now... too many projects, which is better than none

I definitely bought it from York Cycleworks in September 1992 with cash when I was 19. I still have the bike setup report and receipt. They had an aluminium silver grip shift Orange in at the same time.
