As there's nothing on that model I thought it was time to create its own topic.

Here's mine, yet to be restored :

I know, I know, the crankset is crap, as are the tires but it'll change soon (that's how I bought it some years ago).

Please post anything you have about it !

I've been hunting for one of these for years,

I loved my genuine Manitou back in the day, but like everyone else it cracked to pieces

I replaced it with a Pine Mtn hardtail, (also loved it)

so the way I see it if I could graft the rear of Manitou onto the front of the marin i'd end up with........

Now these are a rare beast.

I keep thinking about why I'd want one, but logic isn't really a consideration, as they just look so cool. And that's enough.

I keep looking over the flock and deciding which of mine would get the chop to accomodate one of these Titanium framed beauties.

I remember Bicycle expo in 1992 I think, at Alexandra Palace. I was stood outside checking bits and bobs, when this van rolled up, and a man pulled a Manitou full susser out of the back, and the whole crowd was gob-smacked at this creation. We all realised that mountain biking had just gone very serious and would never be the same again, and it wasn't.

So, yes, I want one, but it's waiting in line behind an Amp Research B5.

Sorry it's in spanish, courtesy of Chimpomtb from the foromtb.com.

You'll have to dust that dictionnary you bought when you went to Ibiza !
