From what I can tell its a 1998 or 1999 Orange Evo 02, size 17", bit of a highbrid build as I started with a Orange Clockwork C16-STXrc but bought the 02 frame and transposed most of the components across.
So its got STXrc rapid shifters and chainset etc. Shimano Deore brakes, Orange hot-rod bars, orange bar ends, mr.christophe pedals. not sure what wheels but think they might be mavic, cant really tell you much more!
the frame i would say is in very very good condition.
the rest of the bike is pretty good considering the age of some of the components, some of the teeth of the front mech are worn and probably could do with updating, rear mech is newish so no probs there.
saddle - damaged as you can see in the pics, not through a fall, i was drunk and rode into and along a wall, including arm and leg
shifters - good, but getting into big chainring can take some time (thumb lever needs tightening up i think as if you push it at an angle it will engage) think all thats need is a good gear service to get her up to full speed.
brakes - needs new pads but otherwise good.
wheels - recent from wheel alignment, rear wheel could do with the same treatment, slighty worn around braking zone but got some life left in them.
been looking through the post regarding 'show us your citrus flavoured bikes (orange)' and not seen one in this colour.
had look on ebay and seen a green EVO 02 go on there for around £180 (had suspension front forks), mine I would say is a more desirable colour, components could maybe do with upgrade to make an awesome classic orange MTB.
never been harshly treated, not big drops (the odd curb )
could do with some idea of how much its worth before I put her in the sale section or on ebay.
thought about starting ebay sale at £99 and letting her roll as I am thinking that it might be worth at least £150 or maybe even more!
i might be totally out hence the post here.
any advice would be appreciated
