The old fellah is back ...

... after almost a 6-year absence.

I'm now 100% road as my MTB was sold about 3 years ago. Still plodding about convincing myself (but nobody else) that I'm able to ride without an ambulance following me ...

My current rides are still my old trusty Marin Pine Mountain that's been converted to a full-on trekking bike with panniers, my winter Kinesis Racelight 4S, (fully mudguarded up) and my summer Enigma Equinox ti that only gets taken out when the gods of weather are in a good mood.

I've inherited a few 1980s wheels that are tubular, both Campag Record and Dura Ace hubs and Mavix CX18 / GP40 rims as well as a Shorter 23.5" road frame with Sun Tour Cyclone gruppo. I've the frame listed on eBay as I won't have time to fix it up and the wheels with tubs haven't yet been listed but I'll bung these on here sometime this week ---- one even has a Maillard Dural 12-17 block

Welcome back! Nothing much changes, Marin Man continues to provoke the big cheese, and everyone is still arguing about whitewall tyres and canti brake setup.

Marin Man? Wasn't he banned a long time since?

Re:

Thanks for dropping by, are you sticking around for a while?

I've not seen Marin Man on here for ages.... unless he's back here "incognito"
