Joining the thread as a possible foreign visitor on the next ride.

If I can't do an April ride I'll be looking for riding partners as I pass through the NW on my way from Glasgow to Runcorn on a "commute" between my two places of work... Possibly May or June.

Will try to organise a MacRetro escort to the border for that one too.

Works out at a comfortable 85 miles a day that way.

Cool. It would almost certainly be early June anyway.

Glad the tyres have a chance of a second life. They were totally surplus to my requirements.

There's some used red white and blue "splash" bar tape up for grabs now.
