Bonkers morning on the CD front - my ye olde Audio Alchemy finally gave up reading individual tracks (still plays from start to finish) - so I decided to pension it off. Bought a boxed/minty looking Philips 930 of the bay recently only to find the CD drawer reluctant and complete inability to read any CD. Then dug out an old TEAC VRDS T1 from the attic - drawer won't open either. Went downstairs to get the relatively new Marantz 6000SE from the lounge and guess what... CD drawer won't open either. All off to the repair shop for assessment en route to the skip!

Marantz 'fixed' - after carefully prising the draw open I discovered two Peppa Pig DVDs had been secreted away by our 3 year old...
