Dear Sirs,

What can I do about room acoustics? I have stereo set up in lounge approx 10' x 30' with bare painted walls, wooden floor and minimal soft furnishings :?

It sounds good, better than ever before, but the speakers are barely 7' apart at narrow end of room. detached house so cranking it up isnae a problem :twisted:

Amp - Audiolab 8000A/8000P, bi - amp'd
Speakers - Mission 753, bi-whatevered
CD - Micromega Stage 3, working
Vinyl - Linn Sondek
Cables - copper covered with dark blue plasticky stuff with pokey bits at each end which stick into the above (ok - Cable Talk 3.1s)

Should I buy a carpet as a starting point :?: Do I need beefier curtains:?: :?: :shock:
